[...] others have included memorable goofs, whether it's a cable car bell ringing a few blocks from the actual line in a movie you forget the next day, or a wrong-way trip across the Bay Bridge in an all-time classic. The Rock (1996): In the Michael Bay thriller, bad guy Ed Harris intends to send a message from his military encampment on Alcatraz, firing a missile at an Oakland Coliseum football game. Maybe the target switched because the Raiders' stadium was half empty - the team finished tied for last in the AFC West that year. A View to a Kill (1985): When international spy James Bond (played by Roger Moore) pulls the file from the oil and mines division at San Francisco City Hall, the Hayward Fault file is marked "Haywood." The Voyage Home (1984): In an attempt to repair their Klingon warbird and save two humpback whales, Capt. Kirk and his crew need to tap the power of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise. The Graduate (1967): Easily the most famous mistake in San Francisco movie history, one that has infuriated many a Bay Area resident watching the film. Reported by SFGate 22 hours ago.
